VERTICAL IMMERSIBLE PUMPS
An immersible pump is different to a submersible pump because of the corrosive nature of the liquid, the motor is mounted above the tank with an extended shaft to the pump end at the bottom of the sump. Vertical sump pumps are specified for tank emptying, transfer or recirculation. The pump can be mounted internally or externally and are available with column lengths from 300mm to 6 metres. Shorter lengths are built without immersed bearings or seals meaning they have virtually no maintenance requirements or risk of failure.
All Crest Vertical Centrifugal Pumps are resistant to clean or solids laden corrosive, acidic or alkali liquids making them suitable for all types of applications. The SURGE, CSS and Cantilever vertical pump types are designed for maximum uptime with their cantilever seal less design allowing indefinite run-dry capabilities. Because every sump is unique in its size and contents, every vertical pump can be built to your exact specification in regard to performance, solids handling, size and fit. If you have any specific design requirements, please get in touch and we will be delighted to discuss your exact specifications.

Featuring a standard 400mm column length. The vertical range is suitable for all types of applications including metal treatment, tank emptying transfer and re-circulation
